One World Music is proud to announce the release of the stunning 1 Giant Leap album 'What About Me?. Following on from the amazing success of the recently released DVD, comes the much sought-after music from the project.

The creative forces behind 1 Giant Leap' are Jamie Catto and Duncan Bridgeman. As a founding member of famed British dance act Faithless, Catto has produced numerous top ten hits worldwide. His '1 Giant Leap' counter-part Duncan Bridgeman has produced and worked with the likes of Transvision Vamp, Duran Duran, The Eurythmics, Shakespeare's Sister and Paul McCartney to name but a few.
 
The backbone of the 1 Giant Leap' music, is formed by each master-piece beginning with a pre-composed backing track which then grows and develops as new layers are added. Rather than gathering samples and taking them back to a studio, collaborators were able to hear the contribution from previous collaborators resulting in a unique organic creative process.
Featuring international stars such as KD Lang, Michael Stipe, Alanis Morrisette, Michael Franti, Carlos Santana, Stewart Copeland, Maxi Jazz, and Baba Maal alongside African tribal and Bedouin musicians, Chinese rappers, Gabonese Pygmies and Tuvan throat singers, all masterfully crafted into a truly unique musical experience.
 
4-years, 5 continents and 50 locations in the making, 'What About Me?' sets out to capture the immense cultural diversity of the world we live in. A unique, inspiring musical journey that will defy any pre-conceptions that you should have left behind before you pressed play…..
